Traineeship Programme
Age: 16 – 23 year olds
Duration: 12 weeks – 6 months
Qualification Level: Level 1
Course Schedule:
Virtual Classroom on Microsoft Teams or academy attendance.
Three days a week at a work placement in your chosen sector.
All Learners will receive accredited qualifications on course
NCFE Certificate in Occupational Studies in the Workplace at Level 1
For anyone who has not achieved a 4 or higher (C grade or above)
Functional Skills Maths -
Functional Skills English -
Essential Digital Skills Qualification for over 19s.
You will also take part in voluntary work experience for the duration of the programme.

- Training relevant to your needs to equip you for the future.

2- 1 Mentoring. - Individualised programme of learning to suit your needs.
Formed initially as a division of an international steel making group in 1986, IPS expanded rapidly and became a limited company in 1997. In 2000 they became independent through a management buyout.
IPS are a lead provider for Traineeship funding and support NUYU staff through delivery of this course.
